I like it when the idle time changes to 13 (or 15) days and the line
is baskically dead. This only seems to happen with heavy traffic and
uptimes >40 days though.

I'd settle for working SNMP that would tell me who was on what port,
then I could just kick them off or reset that port (preferably with
SNMP).
