Its possible that we may use the L2TP (spawn of PPTP and L2F) spec when it
gets ratified as a true standard. PPTP as a secure VPN protocol is a joke,
unfortunately--because it encrypts a PPP frame, with tons of predictable
text in it. However, as a tunneling method for transporting non-IP
protocols, its certainly easy to implement, though it produces tremendous
overhead. We're looking at that stuff. Any real VPN requirements? Email
