We use conventional AC outlets (2 outlets to a box). Line um up on a board
about an inch apart, and wire them all together. The wiring takes time,
but it works nicely and looks nice compared to power-strips. For some
reason, APC doesnt want customers to use power-strips on the backs of
UPSs as I understand? All said and done, the parts for a professional
array of wall-outlets on a board might cost a dollar or two per outlet,
but it takes a lot of time to make it. It'd be the ideal solution if
you've got some extra labor or need something to do while on the
telephone.

On another note, I got some really nice 3' 25m-25m cables from
cables-to-go (CTG). They are well built and cost $2-something a piece.
