Or the one I like: "Login to network" not being checked... Like there is
really someone on the planet that leaves modems open to the world with no
authentication at all. In this case, Win95 calls the system and when it
doesn't go through the usual steps to start PPP immediately, hangs up and says
something like "The other system is not answering."

What exactly is the client side error message?
