And the system didn't crash when you left it alone for a whole 20 hours...?
Wow!

Yes. That's great for restarting dns or radius, but if you're not in the
office, then a machine will lock up and not be remotely bootable because of
a lockup - or it will have a major hardware failure. My theory is that the
severity of the problem is directly proportional to how far from the office
you are located. I went to Martha's Vineyard about a month ago and our
primary dns, mail, web , backup radius server machine's hard drive died. Of
course it was my fault for being so far away. To further complicate things,
a hurricane was approaching and there was a 10 hour wait for the ferry. The
only knowledgeable tech back at the office got things running again, but
the hard drive ABSOLUTELY needed to be replaced, so - after waiting for 10
hours for the ferry and a 5 hour drive, I had about 4 hours of system
repair to keep me busy. :) I can't wait to see what happens next month when
I go to Belize. :-)

two years)
(maybe it will be as stable as it was in the previous 1 3/4 years?!?!)
