The PM2xx series of term servers use a 386 processor. This is a 32 bit
processor with a 32 bit data path to memory. All 30 pin SIMMs are either 8
bits or 8 bits + 1 parity (9 bits) wide. To have an addressable memory
space, you need a 32 bit wide memory window (or 9*4=36 bits) So, yes, you
must use 4 SIMMs regardless of whether you use 256MBx8, 1MBx8, or 4MBx8.
