Yes, but i've seen a few non-Mac PCs that didn't REQUIRE the parity (in other
words, would work with or without it). A few system boards i've seen had a
jumper that let you select whether you wanted to require parity or not. I was
able to put some 8-bit (non-parity) 1Meg SIMMs from a Mac into a few PCs that
had parity mem after i moved that jumper.
So, i have a huge pile of useless 8-bit 30-pin SIMMs here, and no 9-bit ones.
If the PM didn't require parity, or had such a jumper, i could make use of
some of it. Oh well.
