We don't have this problem after upgrading our ROM chips to the 33.6
chips that Supra offers. One problem we do have now though is that the
modems randomly freeze. One modem might freeze one night and after
resetting it, it might last for a week before happening again. This also
happens to the 'true' 33.6s we get through our supplier so it's not just
the upgraded modems acting up. Damn,do these things run hot. I even have
2 fans blowing on top of them along with the a/c down low.
Supra's response to it was to flash all the modems with a beta flash
upgrade. Ummm, I don't really like anything with the word "beta" in it :)
I haven't done it yet. I think I'll try it on one or two Thurs or Fri and
see what happens though.
Anyone else with this problem? Even better, anyone know if flashing the
modems will fix it? :)
