Difference between BRI boards?

Can anyone tell me if there's a difference between the Portmaster 5BRI card
for the 2nd slot and the 3rd (other than the numbers painted on the panel)?

I'd like to get one of the new PM-2E's with the base ISDN configuration
and move the 5BRI card that's currently in slot 3 of our 2eR-30 into the
new unit (thereby isolating all our ISDNs into one unit), but I don't know
if that's really an option.

As background (and a bit of a peeve), I want to isolate the ISDN lines
from the rest of our serial lines because here in NYNEX land, they have
a hard time spelling ISDN, never mind keeping a line consistent. We've
had a number of instances (and we're having one right now) where NYNEX
drops the ISDN service, and when it's reinstated, I end up with a pair
of lines that look like this:

show s26
--------------------- Current Status - ISDN Port S26 ------------------------
Status: NO-SERVICE
Input: 167830 Abort Errors: 165
Output: 639370 CRC Errors: 52
Pending: 0 Overrun Errors: 1
TX Errors: 0 Frame Errors: 47
Modem Status: DCD- CTS+ TELCO+ NT1+ Disconnect:

As far as I know, the only way to get the PM to see the line as IDLE
again is to reboot the PM. That's really going to cheese the 18 dialup
users currently on the serial ports!

Short of having the PM be better about re-establishing communications
with the ISDN line in such a case (oh, puh-leeeze!), I at least want to
isolate the ISDN lines, which will automatically restore themselves
quickly after a reboot.

Thanks for any hints or tips.
