They'd want to do a better job with this distribution. I downloaded
msie3 kit for Windows 3.1 last week and set it up.
I had 2 major problems.

1. It modified the autoexec.bat, but put it's mods after the call to menu.
That was Useless and harder to fix than adding a path for Trumpet Winsock.

2. The TCP stack would not allow a telnet connection.

I had the same problems when i tried version 2 a couple of months ago.

We supply Trumpet winsock 2.0b with a simple dialup script and use PAP
for logon and authentication. Similar story with Win95 DUN.
99.8% of our customers run PPP, those who arent PPP get a special entry
in the Radius users file.
Since we got the PM2's and started using ppp & UNIX authenticated by
default, there's virtually no help calls anymore.
Anybody wanna buy a couple of used mobile phones? <grin>
