I think everybody is missing something here. There's nothing to get
"caught" over. Nothing any of those people did was either unethical or
illegal. In fact, in our case, we were *encouraged* by BellSouth
employees to do this very thing. Just because you all got suckered into
paying $55 / line....

cheat: v. 1. To deceive by trickery; swindle. 2. To mislead fool.
3. To elude; escape...
This doesn't say anything about trying to minimize the cost of business
under ethical measures...seems to me that anyone who doesn't minimize
costs is a poor excuse for a business. :-P
