I regularly use the windows based management package to add names to a
small portmaster database on a PM2E. I know for a fact that you can sniff
these packets out and gain password info when telnetting in and setting
passowrds.

Has PM ever thought of an encryption method for managing a PM? Yes I am
aware of RADIUS..
