Under ethical measures? I'm not in Bell South land. I know for a FACT
that the tariff states you CANNOT (ie illegal) use a residential line for
business activities where I am. So, your saying it ethical to break the
law?
We charge sales tax on our service/setup, we do this because the
Massachusetts state tax law says we have to. We were the only one doing
it. Netcom just sent out notices to all their Massachusetts customers
because they were caught. I can't believe a company as big as Netcom
wouldn't read the tax laws for a state they were doing business in. You
cannot plead ignorance on this stuff. "Gee, I didn't know I couldn't use
a residential line, You installer said I could." The installer is not
the PUC
> By the way what do you pay for business lines?
Centrex lines, $18 + UCL = $22/line.
