Dialup into a CSU? That's weird. You're not talking about the new 56K
modems I take it, since those are listed as working on BRI, PRI, and
Channelized T1 lines...

The ports on a PM-2 are async serial ports. (Except W1 on a PM-2R - which is
a sync serial port.) 56K lines are sync lines, so you would need a CSU/DSU
that can handle the sync/async conversion.
