I'm just curious, how does this, throughput, compare to a 33.6K modem
connection?
With a true 33.6k connection and no compression the theoretical maximum
throughput is 4011 cps (33,600 x 0.11940) and thus close to 70% of an
async 57200 bps connection. But as Eric pointed out, latency is larger
for modems, and subjectively the difference may be greater.
