We recommend
MTU=542
TCPMSS=2048
TCPRWIN=512
And don't seem to have any problems. Before people would occasionally
have problems with web pages not loading completely.
I don't remember the exact reasons for this, but someone posted a while ago
something about Windows 3.1x having problems with higher MTU values.
I also seem to remember that Megazone used to reccommend the lower values,
but that could just be a caffine glitch.
