I mailed a complaint to postmaster at thehost.com, which is the originator of
the email, and mailed back a complaint to Mr Potts about this. Sorry, Ascend,
the fact that you'd a) send unsolicited email [you know, I'd toast your account
in an instant if you were one of my users?] to a list you b) effectively stole
from Livingston using c) a forged email address speaks much about your company.
Price on products aint Everything. Livingston provides good products (hey,
their routers ain't Cisco's, but they work and cost a lot less), good free
support (this list is an example of it... the fact that Ascend stole it shows
they know that) and are trustworthy people. I don't care if their special deal
is somehow better or not than the PM-3... I won't buy it. (And in a month or
so when we expand one of our POPs, I will buy a PM-3.)
Idiot sales wanks.
