set w1 address x.x.95.170 netmask 255.255.255.252
set w1 dici 17:x.x.95.169
This works fine for our connection to ISP.
Now the question is...
How can I setup another subnet for our Frame Relay connection to remote
office on the same W1 interface on our PM 2ER?
How can route the new class c IP ( x.x.36.0 ) in my PM 2ER ?
As my understanding that every virtual circuit connection has to be a
subnet and most of them are using netmask 255.255.255.252 which only has
2 ip to use.
The question is
Can W1 port has two or more subnet point to ?
I have tried
set w1 address x.x.95.170 netmask 255.255.255.252
set w1 dlci 17:x.x.95.169 16:x.x.95.173
but it does not work.
And...
set w1 address x.x.95.170 netmask 255.255.255.248
set w1 dlci 17:x.x.95.169 16:x.x.95.173
it does not work nether.
Please help me.
