Well we used to run a World Group here quite well off a PM2E but of
course that may be cheating as we had the inbound connectivity version
that allowed you to rlogin into the bbs from anywhere. It was just a
matter of setting the PM to auto log to that host (Which is a a piece of
cake)

Now if your bbs didn't support that kind of stuff (i.e. needs it
to happen through the com port). Why not try some of these virtual com
port programs. OS/2 and SIO could support up to 4 virtual com ports that
would simulate a virtual modem and then route it through a TCP connection
(so that it went RING when someone came in) then just configure the
portmaster to go to that machine. The only drawback of course is that you
are probably limited to 4 or 8 connections.

The other alternative is to hook up ports on the pm hardwired I
guess.. But that just seems really redundant.
