We had a problem a while back where users were just getting all kinds of
random disconnects. We knew it was more than just an equipment or network
problems because our voice calls got dropped too in the middle of
conversations. We had to yell and scream at PacBell before they would even
consider looking into the problem because they said they don't support
data over voice. After threatening to sue them and talking to the
president's office, they relented and found out it was switch timing
problem between their switches. It took them about 4 days though to find
the cause of the problem.

The terminate cause code from ComOS was of *great* help during that
dilemna.

Ours was a telco problem. Have you just noticed these dropped connections
now because of the ComOS disconnect codes or have you just started
receiving queries about dropped calls. Also note that, script login PPP
sessions will generate Carrier loss messages.

Hope that helps.
