To Proxy or Not to Proxy, Arp is the question...

Which do most of you prefer? We're using proxy arp right now on our
PM2s and Netservers, and it seems to behave a little better
than routing to a different network for the PPP interfaces. But
as far as I know, ComOS still doesn't support supernetting (the
USR boxes claim to be able to do so), so I have to spend a little
more on ethernet router ports to do this.

OTOH, without OSPF or RIPv2, routing to subnets is a little unwieldy,
too.

Any data?
