You'd better have them change that because it won't work. We *require*
that each PRI have it's own D channel.

No we do not, and no it is not.

NFAS (sharing the D channel) is normally used with 3 to 4 PRIs. Using one
D channel for 2 PRI means there is no backup D channel, and is generally
considered foolish. The added channel is not worth the risk of no backup.

With 3 PRIs you normally have 1 primary D and one backup D, and the 3rd
PRI has 24 channels. You can add a 4th 24 channel PRI. But since the PM-3
only takes 2 PRIs max, we do not allow D channel sharing.
