Obviously this is some new user of the work 'popular' that I am not
familiar with.

We have a very nice track record of meeting user demand (yeah, we have made
a *couple* of mistakes, OSPF being the most noticable. But I believe our
record is exemplary, even before comparing it to others) and there is a
definite demand for this both *internally* and externally. So I think it
is likely to happen eventually.

But first there are more pressing issues. I think everyone would agree that
seeing OSPF on the rest of the products, 33.6 on the modems, channelized-T1
dialin, etc, etc should be addressed before a bell and whistle like command
line history. When it is done it will probably be between major projects
when engineering has some time.
