This is PPP I presume. You should be able to assign the Cisco an
address from the PM's network, or any other network the PM can route.

The way you have it here is the usual way it is done.

Does the PPP link succeed? If not, use
'set console'
'set debug 0x51'

And watch the PPP negotiation. Chapter 19 of the config guide will help
decode it.

'set debug 0x0'
'reset console'

when done.
