Actually we now (as in before we shipped) fully support 2400 and up
connections. So that isn't it. I suspect the issue is that we do not have
MNP10, and other cellular specific protocol support. The Lucent technology
we will be introducing in 1997 has several additional protcols, including
the cellular protocol suite.
I'm not sure that *is* the problem, but it could be. He may be using a cell
modem that is requiring these protcols.

V.22bis is 2400
V.32 is 4800 and 9600
We support both... I would think 7200 falls under V.32, in which case we
do.
