I've seen it also, when a modem drops carrier, the next person to
dial that line is dead in the water. It doesn't seem to reset itself.
Could this be the writes to the NVRAM? I do not have this problem on
me PM2e, just the 2er. I'd appreciate any insight, I'm running 3.3.1.
