Actually, there is, for the customer, an advantage to the way ComOS works.
Some stacks will remember the last IP granted, and request that on connection.
Since ComOS tries to save IPs as long as it can, if you get disconnected, dial
back and request the same IP, as long as you're on the same PM you stand a
pretty good chance of getting it.

You can then resume FTP'ing or whatever from where you left off, since the
senders stack will treat it just like a bad case of netlag.
