I would have to say I've seen similar problems. Customers that I KNOW
have a clue and connect flawlessly every time will suddenly have a
horrible time connecting due to "unable to negociate" errors. After
putting the customers through a rash of questions resembling the Spanish
Inquisition, we found that no new software had been installed, no
settings had been changed, and their 95 box was setup 100% correct. I
even had them turn on "terminal window after dialing" and it didn't
help. Again, I don't know what the problem is either, but it usually
goes away after a few days.
BTW, if you know of some rather obscure fixes to this problem, please
mail them. But I've read lots of documentation on the problem, and I
don't believe that windows 95 can be completely to blame in the above
scenarios.
