I have looked thru the livingston website but want some stories
from those who have gone before me on this. As you may guess if
you have read some of my earlier posts I probably have a LOT
less experience than most of you.
At present I have a PM2e30 (3.1.4)with another on the way. We
have all 30 lines connected to supra 28.8s our gateway is a
cisco 2501.
My pm is very plain vanilla, no filters, a user table of about
320 ( I know I know)
My plan is to add a second PM and switch to a radius NT service.
My goal is to do this with the least amount of interuption.
Overall the system right now runs very well with a minimum of
problems. I am looking for advice on what to look out for in
this coming upgrade so that I don't screw everything up in the
process.
Is there a particular order in which to upgrade the OS. Is the
newest ver best (seems I have heard that one of the intermediate
vers worked better for some folks).
Any advice on how to switch from my password table to the
radiusNT with out losing all those accounts. etc etc...
I DLed a ver about 3 weeks ago and thought perhaps I would wait
until the new pm arrived and play with those together before I
actually switched my user base to it.
