Well, they've been shipping approximately one month. So they don't have
a long record. But the record so far is pretty good - very good actually.
*Especially* considering it is a new product with a lot of new technology.
There have been few problems, and those have been minor overall.

There was a problem with modem connections under odd conditions - like
14.4 only if LAPM failed with certain modems, then PPP would work. Weird
stuff. That was fixed. There have been cosmetic issues that have been
fixed - odd formatting on the data, or displaying the wrong number.

We goofed with the first patch releaee - 3.5c1 - and it wouldn't soft
boot. We put 3.5c2 out to remedy that mistake. 3.5c2 also has the
33.6 modem code for those who want to test it.

There was a long letrer on this list just a couple of days ago, praising
the unit. And it has been getting favorable comments on inet-access and
ascend-users too.
