To Albert:

I offer my sympathy, understanding, and help if it is of any use.

To all Cisco users:

I have read the Cisco manuals....
I have purchased the product....
I have purchased "add on software" (IPX, IP)...
I have purchased the "on site" assistance from Cisco....
I have seen it work (and not)...
I have experinced the frustration....
I have signed up for Cisco training classes weeks in advance only to find
once again they are booked...

..... been there, done that.....

To Livingston Tech Support:

THANKS!!!!
THANKS!!!!
THANKS!!!!

What more can I say ??

Now to use this mailing list for what it is intended:

Thanks for the responses I have received on my previous post of this
message. I have done some more testing with the Netware 32 Client and
found more problems than solutions. Therefore, (unless anyone can prove
otherwise) I recommend not to use the Netware Client.

We have experience the following problems:

Does not work with IPX dial-up networking sessions.
Does not allow CD-ROM sharing between workstations.
Internet Explorer 3.0 quits working once the client is installed.
Runs 32 times slower than the Microsoft client (why are all 32 bit
applications like this?)
etc. etc. etc.

This is actually hard for me to admit, since I would just about rather die
than give Bill Gates more money.
