Atari ST

Help! I have a user with an ATARI ST/Mega 4 and some home-grown software
from Sweeden or Holland or somewhere Scandi-european. Anyway, I'd like to
accomodate him. He needs SL/IP.

I've set the RADIUS file entry for SLIP:

userid Password = "password"
User-Service-Type = Framed-User,
Framed-Protocol = SLIP,
Framed-Address = 255.255.255.254,
Framed-Netmask = 255.255.255.255,
Framed-Routing = None,
Framed-Compression = Van-Jacobsen-TCP-IP,
Framed-MTU = 1500

A manual login with a terminal shows the normal script session (login,
password) and then says:

SL/IP session from (aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd) to aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd beginning...

but there is no gobbledeegook string like with PPP (the carrier) nor does
it say "my IP address = aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd"

Is this normal? Is it working fine? Is there something else I need to set
in the PM for SL/IP? Any ideas (besides get a real computer!)?

Regards,

Steve
