Right, I meant to say 'for your ISDN callers'. We use a flat file in
/etc/raddb/users that could be used for multiple radius servers as long as
they are all modified to expect the exact same dictionary entries. Ascend
has about 100 Ascend-specific values which would need to be matched with
the Livingstong-specific dictionary items. This way, you could make
radius auth much easier with the use of a single flat file for both (or
more) radius auth and accounting servers. Failing that, you would lose
quite a bit of the robustness of using radius, BUT simple authentication
would still work.

And in hindsight, you're dancing...eh?

Yup...but in SWBs defense, let me say that we have over 15 PRIs, and SWB
downtime is VERY VERY rare.

As with any customer, feel free to call Tech support M-F 7:30am-10pm, Sat
9-5, Sun 10-5 (excluding obvious holiday hours) and request an account.
Once you have an account, and if it turns out you're not happy with the
services we offer (not bloody likely :) I'll credit anything you owe if
you terminate services due to lack of satisfaction. Be sure to drop me a
note once you have an account so I may make damn sure the account was
created the way you wanted it, and you have access to our 'Welcome to NOL,
here's how to configure XYZ to connect to us' documentation.

Yeah, the 1800 does look like it would work great since it can use radius.

See ya.
