Please note that I have a PM2ei. It is the base unit with 1 add'l card
installed (10 total BRIs). In attempting to upgrade it to to 4MB of memory
I tried at least a dozen SIMMS including MANY 3 chip SIMMS that worked FINE
in my PM2e30s. It wasn't until I finally found a set of, exactly:
70ns 1MB 1x9 SIMMs that the Portmaster PM2ei would boot.

In other words, 3-chip SIMMs that work fine in PM2e30s definitely do NOT
work in my PM2ei. I **HAD** to have 9-chip SIMMs for the PM2ei. I don't
know if this includes all PM2eis or if perhaps mine has a hardware problem....
anyone else had this sort of experience?

Later.
