I am only using the word proprietary in the sense that this protocol is
not a standard with an RFC. Not in the sense that Livingston is stopping
anyone else from using it. There may be more that use it besides
Livingston, Telebit, and Linux. It is more properly called "MultiLine
Load Balancing" vice "MultiLink PPP" as it has little to do with the
PPP protocol standard.
