Bad PPP protocol errors

I don't know if this is much help, but we found all sorts of strange
problems associated with Livingston to Pipeline links. At the suggestion of
one user on the group, we disabled VJ header compression on the PM, and
suddenly ALL of our problems dissappeared.

FWIW, you might give it a try.

You also might want to check the hunting on your BRI line. Bell Atlantic has
a problem with their 5E switches in that if both B channels are configured
for CSV+D, the incoming call on the 2nd B is always a voice call. Make sure
that the 2nd B is configured for CSD.
