Hrm... SHould have worked. But let me tell you how I set them up:
I null modem on S0, set the IP address, and telnet port to 23. Then from
there I go to a PC and run PMCONSOLE. I set up 1 port how I want it, then
in CLONE the port using the CLONE button in PMCONSOLE. This ensures that
ALL the parameters are exact on all ports.
Another quick and dirty way to set up additional PM 11's is to remove the
diskette and DISKCOPY ( or DD in unix ) it to another 720k diskette. Then
I boot the new PM from that, null modem, change the ip address and address
pool starting ip and im done!
I have blank COM OS images on my ftp site as well at
ftp.ams.com/pub/livingston just in case you "scrodded" any diskettes.
