Not sure but out here in Alberta it's the same way. The funny thing is
that I can use DMS-100, NI-1, NI-2, AT&T, etc on my MAX, and on my PM3 and
it works on all. Weird eh? I had the Livingston tech guys call into my
PM3 when I was having problems and they could not believe it! I was saying
to them that you could probably set the switch type to BOZO and it would
probably still work! B*)
