Once upon a time Steve Fogelson shaped the electrons to say...
>site to the frame relay cloud and use SPX/IPX over the frame relay cloud
>to connect the remote and main Novell servers. Also I imagine the
>remote would have access to the internet as well.

You would put the POPs on a second frame cloud, not the same cloud used
for Intrnet access. But yes, this can be done.

>What Livingston equipment would I use at the remote end? An IRX?

IRX, OR-LS, or OR-HS probably.

>What security issues do I need to be concerned about? (I'm using
>filters on our current IRX 211)

Security is up to you. It is all part of your network, so you need not
worry about the outside world on the second frame cloud.

>Will there be significant performance changes?

That depends on the frame cloud.

>Can I add another site and connect to the frame relay cloud?

Yes.

>Could I have a T1 frame relay connection at the main site and 56K frame
>relay connections at the remote sites? Can you mix them up?

Yes.

>What Livingston equipment do I need?

Same as above.
