THANK YOU! *This* is what I wanted all along! And, is very close to what
I was proposing as a change to radius in my last message. Heh heh. Ugh.
FYI,
In the RADIUS 2.0 manual, there is no mention of Framed-Protocol being
used under the "Check Items" section. However, after receiving this info,
I found the information located under the "Reply Items" section on p. 4-7.
And before the example they give, the explanation is a typo:
"Framed-Protocol can also be used as a reply item requiring PPP
autodetection by the PortMaster."
...where "reply item" should be "check item". And to avoid future
confusion there REALLY should be some mention of this under check items...
such as in the "Check Items" section header maybe:
"Check items may consist of any of the following: password information,
client information, prefixes, or suffixes." [or protocol...]
