I see to be having a very strange problem with my PM-25. We are trying
(we actually had it setup and working, but all of the sudden it stopped
working :(. ) to setup our Portmaster-25 with an Adtran ISU Express
ISDN modem. We are running multilink PPP, and everything seems to be
setup correctly. I ran through the help doc's (online, as well as the
manuals), and also searched through the archive of this list, but I
haven't found a solution for this problem.
Basically what is happening is, a user connects, and the (Microsoft
Dial-up networking) software attempts to send their login and password.
Each person trying to use this has previously connected successfully, and
has not changed any of their settings.
I have double checked the modem strings (I am using:
ATS54=12S27=1S0=1&D2\Q3\r , what the Adtran Tech Support gave me).
I have tried reseting the modem and the port a number of times, but no
progress came of it.
When the user attempts to login, after they connect, the "IDLE" changes to
"USERNAME", but the user name never shows up when you do a "sh ses".
Here is the config which the Portmaster has for the Port we are trying
this with:
----------------------- Current Status - Port S23
---------------------------
Status: IDLE
Input: 4931792 Parity Errors: 0
Output: 53397994 Framing Errors: 620

Any ideas?
