I've seen this problem - its a problem with the HD BRI connector. If you
"wiggle" the connector your port(s) of failure will move around. If you
position the connector and cable so that there is absolutely _no_ pressure
on the connector, it works perfectly. Obviously this is a problem.
My solution was to punch down my BRIs individually in a patch panel on
pins 4,5 (the blue pair) then run individual CAT-5 patch cables to the
individual BRI inputs on the PM. Since then my BRIs have been 100% rock
solid.
Maybe someone else has taken the time to find the exact cause of the HD
BRI connector problem - I did'nt try anything to fix it, so there may be
another solution that will allow you to use the HD connector?
