Trumpet Winsock login problem

I have a Win 3.1 user who dials in to my PM2E (using Radius 2.0) with
Trumpet Winsock. It seemed to be working fine, until "somehow" some
of the settings changed. She is using a winmodem (I know -- I told
her not to get one <sigh>).

Now she can dial in and get a login prompt. After the user name goes
in, she gets a unix prompt (no password). If she tries to log in
manually, she is disconnected after sending her password, as she does
not have, want or need a shell account.

She is in the group of users for whom Radius is set to DEFAULT for
user and UNIX for password (used the backwards compatible users
file).

No other users (even the few with winmodems) are having this problem.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
