If the DSUs are Adtran TSU 1000s or the T1/FT1 check that the
config->port->TX clock is INT and not INT-INV. Inverting the TX clock to
the Livingston products will cause the connection either to not work at
all or perform very badly.
Learned that one the HARD way! :/
