There's many technotes written up on IPX and WAN connections using
PortMasters. See http://www.livingston.com, select 'customer service' then
'application notes'.

Not at all, this should work nicely. The trick is to give the PTP link
between the OR's their own IPX network numbers.

Site A: IPXNET=10
----------------------
|
+------+------+
|Office Router|
+------+------+
|
|
| PTP: IPXNET = 30
|
|
+------+------+
|Office Router|
+------+------+
|
-------------------------
Site B: IPXNET = 20

* First Get your OR's talking over the PTP using IP (see www.livingston.com
for more details). You can assign them bogus ip address from 192.168.0.0
if you don't have your own IP block.
* Then with IP established issue the following commands to both OR's to set
up IPX.

set w1 routing on # IPX likes RIP
set w1 ipxnet 30 # Set the IPXNET number for the link
save all
reset w1

>Users at A want to be able to login to site B's server and vice versa
>(mainly just to open the odd data file) via ISDN.

When the link is up use:

show ipxroute
show sap

To see routes and services being broadcast across the link. Ones that are
coming from the other side of the connection will show a PTP in their
interface column.

You are smoking something good.
