To save you time, no doubt. I've had people like Exabyte, after
determining that a piece of equipment is misssion-critical, ship an
entirely new chassis, including guts, just to be ensure that I had a
working product by Monday Morning. This is a feature, not a bug. I'm
sure that it's quicker to ship you a working unit than a
possibly-non-working sub-unit.
