if it works don't fix it. Realize that many new things like VLSM, OSPF,
etc are not available in 3.3.1. Also there were a few memory leaks that
were fixed in 3.5x

I still run 3.3.3 on a PM2 and except for having to move it the box would
have been live for 140 days... ;) yeah yeah I know others are approaching
365 days...

You can back up the configuration using PMConsole! The manuals have a lot
of useful information regarding this...
