Hrm, I have (had) about 125 Cardinal modems and after 2 years, a grand
total of 4 died.

Hayes is about the same way, they want so much PER MODEM for shipping. For
that trade-in deal, I think it was $15 shipping PER or more and I called
and told them I had a few dozen and would just put them in the same box
and they still wanted to charge me the PER MODEM shipping charge. I told
them to forget it and told them I was not selling Hayes anymore.
