After Hayes pulled the "you modem will blow up" unless it Hayes crap, I've
been boycotting them. They're straddling the 56k fence too. I haven't
been overwhelmed with the quality of their modems lately either. (And
while I'm whining, why did 3com have to buy USR? I used to like 3com.)
