I will have two classes of users: one that is permitted to
use PPP or shell account, and another that is restricted to
shell account only (actually, their shell will be the
"pine" email program). If necessary, the accounts for the
latter could be on a different machine from those of the
former.
Right now, I have only the first group, and have used one
of the popular radius mods that gives shell account to
users logging in with their normal UNIX loginname, and runs
PPP if thet login with ".ppp" appended to their normal UNIX
loginname.
I use /etc/passwd for authentication.
What do you suggest?
